A deranged Celso mocks and taunts Fausto, who shoots him in the chest, killing him instantly. Fausto then goes to his office, telling everyone that nothing happened. Camila, at the scene, tries to convince Patricia to flee, as everything points to her being Celso’s murderer.
Patricia cries, denying she killed Celso. Fausto manipulates their children to convince them that their mother is the killer and should surrender. Camila eloquently declares her version of the events and then tells Ezequiel she lied to make Patricia pay for a crime she didn’t commit, just as they did to her mother.
Camila, to make Patricia live the same anguish her mother felt, offers her help and then exposes her publicly. Camila possesses the video of what happened with Celso and says she won’t turn it over to the police if Fausto confesses how they framed her mother.
Camila offers Patricia to turn over the video only if she betrays Fausto and hands him to the police. Patricia tells Camila that her mother was not so saintly and was the cause of this war between the families, for her relationship with two men simultaneously. Fausto again hires Anton to kill his wife.
Fausto and Ezequiel are at odds; the video showing Celso’s death will ruin Fausto unless he signs a confession clarifying that Rosa Blanco was wrongly convicted. Fausto manipulates by saying Ezequiel should also confess that he killed his brother Augusto, Camila’s father. She arrives in time to prevent Ezequiel from shooting Fausto.
Fausto narrates in detail what happened years ago. He lies shamelessly, Torrealba thinks he wants to blame his wife for being unfaithful. Camila harshly reproaches Mother Isabel. Rosa cannot appear because they want to kill her. Axel is disappointed because Amelia hid the paternity of his child.
Ezequiel argues with his children. Camila defends them and tells him that his children fear him. Max is willing to meet Rosa even at the risk of his life, and Camila organizes a party to expose Elda.
Camila pressures Alfredo as part of her plan, revealing that Alfredo is the son of her godmother, who abandoned him almost as soon as he was born. Elda, alone, cries because deep down she is not happy with what she did. Sebastián is shocked when Axel confesses that Amelia’s child is his.
Max tells Camila that he knows where Rosa Blanco is. Fausto enjoys humiliating Patricia, saying she will pay, like Rosa Blanco, for a crime she did not commit. Alfredo goes to speak with Elda, despises her as a mother, and blames her; remorse haunts her: part of the revenge for her betrayal of Rosa Blanco.
Camila admits that Max is the man she has loved the most and confides that she feels great hatred for Marcelina, as being her mother’s best friend, she was the one who betrayed her the most and left her on the street when she was only a five-year-old girl. Max refuses to believe it.
Camila is going to meet one of the Rosas Blanco to find out more about the girl in the photo who was her as a child and her mother's fate. She is disappointed because the woman knows nothing and this makes her sad.
Camila and her mother, in an emotional encounter, embrace after many years. Rosa justifies herself, saying that her intention was always to protect her and prevent her from being contaminated with hatred and resentment as she feels. Marcelina wanders around a park, stunned, unbalanced, and nervous after learning of her betrayal.
Camila and Rosa swear that now nothing and no one can separate them. Rosa wants to meet with her sister, Mother Isabel. Rosa, alone with her sister, shows her true face: cold, composed, and above all, vengeful. The two sisters confront each other over what they want for Camila.
Max now understands why Camila did not marry him. Max and Camila meet with Rosa. Rosa Blanco and Fausto plan to ally to bring down Ezequiel, but he does not trust her and believes it is a trap. He therefore decides to also ally with Ezequiel to kill Rosa.
Inspector Torrealba demands that Rosa testify about the past crime of Leoncio López Méndez. Painfully, she recalls the moments when Ezequiel arrived and killed Leoncio, leaving without any remorse. Fausto and Ezequiel continue with their plan to kill Rosa Blanco to prevent her from revealing what she knows.
During an event at Mascarada, Rosa is welcomed by Camila, enjoying seeing all her enemies gathered in one place. Ezequiel and Fausto each celebrate the other’s downfall, but are united in their intent to kill Rosa. Marcelina is fearful and ashamed; Elda assures that Rosa is there for revenge. A video shows Fausto killing Celso.
Ezequiel receives a note from El Doliente, anticipating his death. The plan against Rosa Blanco failed. She continues to recount past events; Ezequiel forced her to take the murder weapon, making her guilty of the crime for which she unjustly served time.
Ezequiel tries to abuse Camila, but a gloved hand hits him. Everyone blames Camila, but she defends herself, saying she did not see the killer. Torrealba insists on questioning her. Everyone: Octavia, Astrid, Max, Marcelina, Leandro, Gregorio, and even Sebastián had motives to kill Ezequiel. Only Max remains detained as the presumed perpetrator.
Max is detained, and Camila assures that he is innocent. Santiago tells the inspector he saw Max cleaningthe object used to kill Ezequiel, concluding sadly that he and Camila were the perpetrators. The interrogations continue.
Torrealba explains the case of Ezequiel López Méndez’s murder to two officers, but is interrupted by Marcelina, who comes to confess her guilt. Torrealba doesn’t believe her. Rosa accuses Octavia of abandoning Camila and convincing Marcelina to do so. Octavia mocks, and Camila, blinded by rage, throws her out of her house.
Camila and Rosa receive a message from El Doliente and find the mysterious character who asks them to listen to why he played his intriguing role, to avenge Ezequiel and Fausto, who had swindled his father.
Camila and Max visit another Rosa Blanco in prison. The woman confirms that she had a daughter and almost convinces her. Max believes she is lying to take advantage of the situation.
This is Camila’s last chance to tell Torrealba the name of the person who killed Ezequiel. She wanted to protect him. She reiterates that Ezequiel, drunk, tried to abuse her.
Camila insists that the imprisoned woman is her mother and Mother Isabel tells her that Rosa Blanco, imprisoned for murdering a man, is not her mother. The fate intertwines the warring families. They seek the identity of 'El Doliente'.
Ezequiel proposes a dinner with Camila to tell her that he will get 'her mother' out of jail. Mother Isabel only wants Camila to be happy and advises her to start a family.
Camila is happy because her mother is finally free, but Max remains doubtful. Together, she wants to know why the woman abandoned her, but she pretends not to remember those painful moments. She abandons her a second time. It is a heavy blow.
Max is disappointed by the meeting between Ezequiel and Camila. In this moment of depression, Astrid tries to be his good friend, but he rejects her. Camila seeks Max, is sad, and agrees that the woman is not her mother.

Max is impatient and wants to know about his sister, Julia. Their plan is to exchange her for Ezequiel and then kill him. In a voicemail, Julia tells him the time and day of the exchange and Max will accompany him.
Gregorio needs to escape with Julia. Camila is denying love, Jeli wants her to admit what she feels for Max and she tells him the reason for the rejection. In the orphanage, she talks to Father Tiziano and Mother Isabel about Rosa Blanco; and believes she is involved and that she is El Doliente.
Julia flees to defend herself from Marcos, calls for help, and calls Max. Ezequiel, armed, arrives at the abandoned house and confronts Marcos. They argue, Marcos loses his mind, and Ezequiel shoots him, claiming it was suicide. Pain in the Aragón household and Fausto swears to take justice.
Camila receives a note from El Doliente advising her to stop looking for her mother. This worries her and she tells Max. She also asks him to trust her, but he is tired of her rejections. Everyone suspects that Ezequiel killed Marcos.
Esperanza knows about Rosa Blanco. Gregorio and Julia pretend in front of the family but continue to meet. The Aragón family is always at war over Marcos’s death.
Roberto returns and wants to meet Camila to remember old times. Max will understand that she was not a prostitute. Gregorio and Julia are surprised by Ezequiel at a hotel. Evidence proves Marcos did not commit suicide and Ezequiel is the culprit.

Patricia and María Amelia had reported the crime of Leoncio’s death. Torrealba confronts them, wanting to know how Rosa killed Leoncio. Patricia, desperate, drinks uncontrollably. The detective, suspicious, doubts her.
In the letters Henry gave to Max, Rosa Blanco says that her daughter was taken away from her and Camila, very anxious, believes she will finally know why her mother abandoned her. Marcelina finds the box with the letters and, knowing the contents, orders them to be burned.
The letters contain evidence incriminating Patricia and Fausto in the murder of Leoncio. Camila will make important decisions, especially to find the four women who betrayed her mother. Fausto has a serious intention: to kill Rosa Blanco.
Mother Isabel confirms to Camila part of the secrets she hides: Patricia and her sister-in-law María Amelia were the ones who denounced her mother. Luciano receives an envelope containing a photo of young Camila in her yellow dress with a woman protecting her.
The four women who destroyed Rosa Blanco’s life reunite in an empty house. Camila confronts Fausto, accusing Patricia of being Leoncio’s murderer. Once again, a motorcyclist warns her to stop looking for her mother and takes the letter from her.
Camila is very confused, nothing justifies the lies, and she is increasingly disappointed with Mother Isabel’s deceptions. Ezequiel confronts Julia and savagely attacks Gregorio when he finds them together.
Mother Isabel confesses to Camila but the girl knows she is still lying. Jeli, her little sister, suffers because of Fernando’s irresponsibility, who got her pregnant. Max announces to Marcelina and Astrid that he will soon marry Camila.
Fausto hires Anton, a criminal, to kill Rosa Blanco; Camila and Max, happy, tell Father Tiziano about their upcoming wedding. Accompanied by Luciano, they plan to meet Rosa on a busy street, but she does not appear. Meanwhile, Sebastian and Julia, Amelia, and Gregorio share their sorrows in their respective homes.
Camila explains to Ezequiel and Julia the reason for her happiness: she will marry Max, and will also soon reunite with her mother. Through Luciano, Rosa sends the address where they will meet, but Elda, angry, copies the information and reveals it to Inspector Torrealba, who orders a police operation to detain her.

Rosa Blanco makes a call to Fausto and threatens Ezequiel with threats against him, Octavia, and his entire family. Camila hears her mother’s voice for the first time but she calls just to say goodbye, as they want to kill her. Camila receives a notebook sent by Rosa.
Only Camila should know the contents of the notebook. Her anger and rage grow, and she thinks her mother has the right to revenge. The implicated women feel fear and nervousness about the notebook’s contents. Max calls Camila and although she says she loves him very much, she does not express joy for the upcoming wedding.
Pain, hatred, and resentment reside in Camila because of the truths she has discovered. Camila, very beautiful, ready to get married, asks to speak with Mother Isabel to ask why she deceived her for so many years. In her pain, Camila tells Max she cannot marry him.
Max is too hurt and no longer believes in that love, warning her that from now on he will dedicate himself to hating her, forgetting her, and that she will be the victim of her own decision. Blinded by anger and pain, he tells the guests to leave as there will be no wedding.

Tension arises when Max finds Camila in the López Méndez mansion. Fausto and Patricia, cruel and harsh, attack Julia, but they know that the worst punishment will come from their father, Ezequiel.
Ezequiel wants Camila to give him the notebook to learn the details of the revenge. Then, he surprises her by asking her to marry him in exchange for his help; if there is no wedding, there is no deal.
Camila and Max offend each other with ironies and hurtful phrases. The four women involved in the betrayal meet again to ally and nullify Camila, but Mother Isabel imposes herself. Both Father Tiziano and Luciano warn about the danger of the marriage between Camila and Ezequiel.
Ezequiel accepts that Camila will not marry him out of love and they make deals. At Mascarada, Ezequiel announces the engagement to his children and all the staff; there are various reactions.
Family and friends are present at the celebration. Camila, stunning and dazzling, is introduced by Ezequiel as the future Mrs. López Méndez, but she cannot respond before surprising shots injure Ezequiel. Marcelina, guilty of the act, clarifies that the shots were not for Ezequiel, but to kill Camila.
Detective Torrealba pressures Marcelina; Max tries to convince him that his mother is sick and not responsible for her actions. Camila is detained for questioning and responds that she does not wish to press charges against Marcelina and only wants to live in peace and be happy.
Max comes to get Camila from the police, she thanks him for the gesture but refuses to reveal her plans. Mother Isabel finds the three women gathered and suspects they are planning to kill Camila. Starting her plan, Camila convinces Max and Marcelina to leave the past behind.
Camila visits Marcelina. In front of her and Max, she says that it was Rosa, her mother, who made her change her mind and that they will not press charges against her. Max asks her to marry him but she surprises him by saying she no longer loves him. Max proposes a formal relationship with Astrid to forget Camila forever.
As part of her plan, Camila has changed, both physically and in attitude. This is how she presents herself to everyone. Max and Astrid continue their romance; however, he cannot stop thinking about Camila and wants to know all the truths that Astrid and Marcelina are hiding.
Only Mother Isabel is convinced of the noble attitude of her girl who gave up the intentions of punishing the three women and even asked for their forgiveness. Ezequiel tells Camila about his son’s engagement and she reproaches him for how quickly he forgot the great love he said he had for her.
Fausto, with a double intention, invites Camila to dinner at his house to get to know his new family. Ezequiel insists on talking about romance and feelings, and the young woman reminds him that this was not what they agreed upon. Marcelina visits Ezequiel in the hospital and he takes the opportunity to threaten her if she tries to harm Camila again.
Camila is alert to the evident hypocrisy of Fausto and Patricia, but she manages to come out on top of the incessant questions, staying firm in her strategy to bring peace to the two families. Issues with Roger and Gregorio are told to Ezequiel, who promises that she will be able to repay all that has been done to her.
Roger takes Camila to a construction building, solitary, and under duress, makes her talk to Ezequiel, who threatens to kill Roger if he harms Camila. Roger expresses all his hatred, explaining how he killed his brother Marcos. Max and Torrealba arrive and find Roger out of control, holding Camila hostage.
Camila approaches, trying to calm him down, and the command takes the opportunity to subdue the young man. Camila runs to seek refuge in Max’s arms. Later, they inform Ezequiel that Camila is safe. When the inspector interrogates her, she, following instructions, does not press charges, which angers Max, but it’s part of her reconciliatory plan.
Amelia and Fausto, on their wedding day. Camila arrives, dazzling, causing admiration in some and contempt in others. She confides in Father Tiziano about her mission, which is tremendously strong for the priest, as he does not recognize in her the child he helped raise. Ezequiel fuels the hatred and gives instructions to be followed.
Ezequiel insists that Camila does not love him, and their deal is purely for convenience. Max remains close to Camila, begging her to return. Gregorio's letter moves Julia, and she agrees to meet him. At the hotel, they find Astrid and Fernando demonstrating their relationship.
Camila is furious to discover that Astrid and Fernando are lovers. Sebastián appeared unexpectedly with Amelia on the wedding day. Again, both Ezequiel and Fausto receive a mask of Santa Muerte and believe it is the work of El Doliente.
